LEADERSHIP

Since joining the US Army National Guard my leadership experience has skyrocketed as well as my communication skills. Since becoming an SSG/E-6 I have had to watch over and mentor soldiers and worry about an array of other people besides myself. I have taught and mentored new crew members as well as pilots on systems of the CH-47F helicopter and a variety of other things. I have also had to take charge of the back of the helicopter as a Flight Engineer in tough situations in Afghanistan, training missions back home, and arial firefighting.
