I helped operate the second part of the Pretty Prairie Steakhouse also known as Fire n' Slice. I learned how to make things from scratch and mastered some cutting skills. I learned food safety along with various health codes to maintain. I learned all the basics in cooking/managing in a restaurant.
I was hired for part time at the Coop and ran the pizza machine and the register. I learned people skills and how to appeal to customers wants and needs. My connections with customers grew while I worked there and made it much easier to tend to their needs.
Hired for part time, but soon became full time. Worked around 90 hours every two weeks and loved every second of it. I managed the clubhouse with green fees and other sales along with outdoor maintenance and greenskeeper. I improved the Links with my passion of making things look neat and fit customers standards.
I have been working at the Outpost for a little over a month now and have shown I am reliable and efficient. I complete tasks given to me in a timely manner and keep learning new things. I believe I will continue getting better at this job and help grow the bussines.
