• Participated in a narcotics surveillance operation at a motel known for illicit drug activity, leading to a lawful traffic stop based on a traffic violation. Assisted in detaining multiple occupants after obtaining voluntary consent to search the vehicle. Recovered methamphetamine from both the vehicle and a passenger, conducted custodial searches, and ensured proper Miranda advisements. The investigation resulted in the arrest of two individuals for trafficking methamphetamine and the safe transport of an arrestee to the Greenwood County Detention Center in compliance with departmental policy. The traffic stop led to a search warrant at the motel, where we later learned employees of the motel were housing a large amount of narcotics on the property. All together, we were able to seize 370 grams of methamphetamine.
