Manage NSK's compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements for the campus. Maintains and expands a working knowledge of EHS requirements, making recommendations to site and corporate management teams regarding EHS items.

• Managing the EHS team and directing EHS resources.
• Managing ISO 14001 certification, the Environmental Management System, and conformance with all applicable environmental permits.
• Managing ISO 45001 initial and continual certification, the Safety Management System, and conformance with all legal requirements.
• Compliance with outside requests (local, regional, corporate, and parent company).
• Implement proactive safety programs.
• Engage team members in EHS activities and awareness.
• Create on-site EHS training, and ensure timely completion and retention of knowledge learned.
• Conduct regular EHS audits, and regulate the closure of deficiencies.
• Makes recommendations to NSK management with respect to EHS compliance issues, and implements compliance and audit programs. Perform JHAs and ergonomic assessments to identify EHS risks.
• Knowledge of plant processes and associated chemicals used in the processes.

Monitors NSK's compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at the site level. Maintains applicable records of environmental matters. Ensures proper compliance with filings and permit applications. Maintains a working knowledge of EHS requirements, and makes recommendations to management regarding EHS issues. Implements EHS compliance and auditing functions. Maintains required documented information for EHS matters.
