PERSONAL TESTIMONY

As a 9-year-old child, I realized that I had never personally accepted Jesus Christ as Savior. One Sunday evening after hearing my father preach on Jesus being our Redeemer, I wanted to know more. That night, I bowed my head and accepted Him. I have served the Lord then faithfully, and I am willing to go wherever He leads next whether that be on U.S. or foreign soil.

MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

Florida:

  • Served in our Deaf Department as an interpreter in all services.
  • Served in our Shepherd’s ministry by riding the bus, assisting in Sunday School, and interpreting the services.
  • Taught a class in our BLAST Wednesday evening children’s class. I specifically had the4th-6th grade class.
  • Ministered in the nursery ministry in all age groups newborn-2 years old.
  • Taught in both our Junior (K5-6th) and Beginner (3-5) Church Classes on Sunday morning.

California:

  • Assisted the Wednesday evening girls classes by leading music, teaching the verse, occasionally teaching, and communicating with the parents.
  • Led a room in our dorm in devotional time and accountability as a room leader under my dorm supervisors.

Maryland:

  • Helping coordinate sporting activities.
