  • I worked at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital for over 20 years, where I worked in several departments:
  • 1. Cash receipts clerk - I posted payments to patient accounts from various sources.
  • 2. Secretary to CFO - I did accounts payable, payroll for almost 200 people, reconciled bank accounts, did monthly reports for the Board. I could do everything the CFO could do.
  • 3. Business Office Manager - I was responsible for all the Inpatients and the. Outpatient registration, all the billing for the hospital. I had to keep up on all Medicare, Medicaid and insurance regulations so we could get the best reimbursement.
  • We maintained a 60 day accounts receivable aging on our accounts.
  • Worked with our computer programmer to maintain our system.
  • Worked smoothly.
  • Did monthly and yearly reports for the CFO.
