Amazon Associate

Amazon.Inc
Dallas, Texas
09.2020 - 11.2024
  • I acquired different skills within Amazon to pack, sort, and palletize orders to send them off to our customers. The job titles that we used to describe these positions were Packing AFE2, Rebining, Singles (Mix), and Docks (Direct Palletization).
  • I would ensure that the items that were being sorted, while I rebined, were on the correct chute to ensure that the packers could find the items easily at the wall they were assigned to. However, there are times when we are required to help the packer find a missing item or we miss out empty totes or damaged items.
  • For packing, we have to ensure that the customer is receiving the right amount of items they ordered on their packing, and we must ensure that the quality of said items is good for the customer's approval.
  • For singles, we have to pack items one at a time as quickly as possible. We, however, don't have walls to get the items; rather, we get them from the totes that come down the conveyor belt and pack out all the items inside the totes into the correct boxes.
  • Lastly, for docks, we must ensure that we palletize the correct boxes with the correct time schedule to ensure that packages are sent to the correct trucks at a scheduled time.
