I am deeply committed to my love for learning and empowering the next generation of educators. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology/Spanish from the University of Texas-Pan American in 2002, followed by a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Lamar University. In 2010. In my ongoing journey as a lifelong learner, I pursued a Master of Arts in Spanish from the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley, completing my degree in 2023.
My passion for teaching is reflected not only in my experience but in my dedication to professional development. I hold Teacher Certifications in 4-12 Biology and Bilingual Generalist (4-8), as well as a Principal Certificate (Standard), which I received in 2011. Additionally, my ILD (Instructional Leadership Development) Certificate from 2010 exemplifies my commitment to leadership in the classroom and beyond.
I believe in the transformative power of education and strive to inspire my students to not only excel academically but to become thoughtful, engaged, and compassionate future educators. My career reflects my passion for both science, education, and language, with a strong focus on the growth of both my students and myself as an educator.
