Accomplishments
- At Global Tungsten Powders hired as a temp worker, I started in Ordnance operating on the floor operating furnaces, dorst press, 150 ton press, auto extruder, heat treats and now I operate CNC lathes in Ordnance. This is the last step in production before going into Quality for inspection and shipping to customers. I have been approached by Quality personnel saying how impressed they are with my attention to every detail and my eagerness to listen to there input on how to make the best product on these lathes that I'm running. And it does help that I absolutely love my job.
- Approached by 3rd shift supervisor and asked if I would be interested in learning the Nakamura cnc turning lathes to assist in filling production orders due to lack of machinist on this crew.
