I feel that I am a very well rounded nurse and I have 31+ years experience of which twenty four of them are as a RN. I have worked many different areas of the hospital and I am always eager to learns new skills as a nurse. I have excellent nursing skills, IV skills and I am currently working to complete my ultrasound IV certification. During my time at Baylor Scott and White Hospital I have obtained my certification as well as being active in our Super Wednesday meetings, I am a joint champion and also a member of our UBC. I have many years of supervisory experience and my goal is to advance my career to a leadership role.

I currently work on our Med-Surg Unit and I also work as a relief charge nurse. I have Medical-Surgical Certification as well as my ACLS. I have also attended trainings as a Super User for EPIC, PCA Pumps, and IV Pumps. I have also served the last two years as the Chairperson of our Nurse Staffing Committee. I was chosen to train nurses to care for joint surgeries on our 3E unit. I am also in the process of obtaining my ultrasound IV certification.

I worked for seven and a half years as the Nurse Manager. I started out on our juvenile unit and then worked on our medically fragile unit.
