As a dedicated Student-Athlete at Erie High School, I’ve learned how to balance academics and athletics while building skills in teamwork and time management. Volunteering as a Teacher’s Aide at Soaring Heights PK-8 taught me how to create fun and engaging learning environments, highlighting my strong work ethic and willingness to learn while also showcasing my strong work ethic and coachability.
I am currently a student-athlete attending Erie High School, playing varsity soccer. During the high school season, I maintain attending practice 5 out of 5 days during the school week, while attending school academically as well. While in the off-season, I continue to play club soccer at Arvada Edge, practicing 3 out of 7 days of the week. Playing my sport at such a high level has provided me with numerous life skills and opportunities, stated below.
Following my time as an active student athlete, prior to attending high school, I participated as a teacher's aide and an office aide at Soaring Heights PK-8, which allowed me to practice skills used in a working environment when it came to working with my superiors and students in a supportive position. The skills I deem most important during my time as an aide are listed below.
