- Evaluate and treat 30+ patients per day in busy orthopedic clinic, including new, follow up, and post operative visits. Manage a diverse patient population from pediatric to geriatric. Perform comprehensive preoperative history and physicals.
- Provide a wide array of musculoskeletal injections in safe and sterile fashion.
- Order and interpret radiologic studies
- Effectively manage upper and lower extremity fractures. Apply casts and splints as necessary.
- Perform reductions and hematoma blocks.
- Surgical 1st assist in variety orthopedic cases, including ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, arthroplasty, distal extremity fractures, etc.
- Carry out hospital rounds and consults for orthopedic service.
- Complete admissions, transfers, discharges, and medical reconciliations in collaboration with supervising physician.
