New York,NY

Summary

My laboratory research experience has included preclinical studies, correlative science with archived clinical specimens, as well as specimen collection and analyses with a continued interest in translational science.

More recently I have expanded my knowledge to the genetic and molecular regulation of central nervous system development using the mammalian retina as a model. I have experience with identification of cis regulatory elements (CREs) through the analysis of evolutionarily conserved regions of genomic sequence as well as ATACseq and CHIP data, and subsequent characterization by cell lineage trace analysis. In vivo electroporation in the mouse retina has allowed me to induce cell fate changes during development and single cell RNAseq confirms the extent to which photoreceptor reprogramming has been initiated.
