  • Founded the company as the qualifier with a B100 and E100 business license, Acquired credit and developed the relationships with our bonding company, banking, vendors, clients and all other aspects required to start a construction company.
  • Over the course of being in business we performed in excess of $160,000,000 worth of work focusing primarily in municipal water and waste water services. As a ground up contractor we specialized in the concrete construction and heavy above and below ground piping systems. We quickly became recognized as the preferred contractor and leader in the industry. We peaked at over 70 employees. Often had up to 200 workers on the ground as subcontractors at any given time.
  • Major clients included West Jordan City, South Jordan City, the Cities of Orem, Sandy, Herriman, Riverton, Bluffdale, Salt Lake, and Draper to name a few.
  • Acted as lead estimator and project manager on virtually every project we completed. Utilized excel spreadsheats as our estimating program that I wrote based upon the UMPS system (unit manhour performance system) that was learned and used while working with TIC (The Industrial Company)
  • Worked on several design/build projects with Hansen, Allen & Luce (Marv Allen especially), Major projects Include the Olmsted Flowline Terminal Reservoir (WW Clyde and The Burea of Reclamation, Orem Sewer Treatment Plant, Spanish Fork Sewer Treatment Plant, Central Valley Sewer Treatment Plant, Built 62 culinary conventional and prestressed, water tanks throughout central and northern Utah ranging from 200.000 gallon to 10,000,000 gallons.

  • Implemented unit manhour performance standards to assure that project was performed at or below project estimate and budget.
  • Supervised concrete pouring and finishing to ensure project specifications and quality standards were met.
  • Collaborated with engineers to troubleshoot design challenges, ensuring integrity in all concrete, structural and piping applications.
  • Led crews in evaluating site conditions, preparing materials, and executing complex concrete and structural steel installations.
  • Installation and alignment of turbine equipment.
  • Implemented safety protocols, resulting in a significant reduction of workplace accidents during operations.
  • Trained junior staff on equipment operation, mixing techniques, and safety procedures for optimal performance.
