  • Achieved the leadership role of Chief of Police for the third largest municipality in Mississippi, the first Chief of Police for the Southaven Police Department to start their career with the department and achieve that rank.
  • Organized, reviewed, and evaluated the work of 200 staff members
  • Effectively rolled out new systems for employee disciplinary processes, use of force and pursuit review boards, and employee evaluations, resulting in policy compliance and a reduction in civil actions against the organization
  • Developed a first-line supervisor training program including basic new supervisor training and a supervisory field training program establishing a culture of personnel development and mentorship
  • Rewrote and updated comprehensive department policies and procedures
  • Prepared and managed a 19-million-dollar departmental budget and stayed within budget year-over-year
