Summary

I'm a Class B Apprentice Lineman who's hardworking, focused, self-motivated and pursuing a career as a journeyman lineman. My path started five years ago while in high school; earning outstanding grades and receiving on the job training as a residential/ commercial electrician under the supervision of a master electrician. After high school I applied, was accepted, and graduated in the top three of my class from Northwest Lineman College at the Edgewater, FL campus in December 2022. My dedication to become a journeyman lineman was acknowledged when I was nominated, by the NLC journeymen instructors, for the Eagle and Skills Awards, the highest awards given for outstanding academics and demonstration of mastery of lineman skills. After NLC I was hired by Bay Line Construction Company in Georgetown, DE as a Class D Apprentice Lineman. For the past year and half I have been working in the power industry, gaining a wealth of hands-on experiences, developing strong mentor relationships with my journeymen colleagues, and gained the trust and respect from my superiors during everyday work and storm restoration. My personal characteristics of: punctual, dependable, initiative, flexibility in problem solving, thoroughness to details, conditioned to outdoor weather, work well within a team, no fear of heights, and stable under pressure situations are proving to be essential as a successful lineman. I am eager to meet with your hiring team, discuss the Lineman position that is currently open, and look forward to becoming a member of the ANEC team, and giving back to my community through the power industry.
