Experienced NCCER pipe fitter. Possess the necessary skills and tools to perform all job duties associated with pipe fabrication and fitting.
Familiar with the job hazards associated with working in industrial facilities and the means of minimizing or eliminating hazards. Examples include receiving the right permit for job and communicating with operations, writing JSA, proper PPE and safety equipment, knowing evacuation and muster points, use of barricades, LOTO, access to SDS, etc.
Fabricating and fitting carbon steel and stainless steel piping and supports.
Proficient with oxy-fuel torch and plasma cutter.
Proficient in reading and interpreting isometric drawings and P&ID's.
Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
Focus on safe work practices.
Working well with others as a team with good communication skills.
Take pride in doing quality work and punctuality.
Perform various maintenance tasks throughout facility such as
repairing or replacing any damaged piping, tubing, valves or structural supports, changing filters and gaskets, etc.
Assisting millwright team with their maintenance tasks.
Assisting outside contractors during turnarounds.
Work at 415 module yard fabricating pipe rack, process, and subsea modules, ranging in size from small process skids to large pipe rack and process modules.
Multiphase expansion at Huntsman/Rubicon site including construction and setting of modules.
Turnaround work.
