  • Work with the Director of Plant Operations to manage an active staff daily.
  • Led daily operations to provide support campus-wide for over 1,600 students. Our work enhanced overall campus efficiency.
  • Continuously working to improve processes, communications, and results with various stakeholders on Campus.
  • Collaborate daily with the grounds, trades, and housekeeping departments to ensure that the students and their families receive nothing short of an outstanding on-campus college experience.
  • Guide managers in maintaining operating budgets that exceed 3 million dollars, encompassing deferred maintenance work, salaries, and contractors on campus.
  • Manage the campus work order system, including an upgrade to a paperless system.
  • Worked with the IT Department to review new systems and roll out the work order software on campus, significantly reducing paper use in Plant Operations.
  • Supervise the daily workflow by directing incoming work requests, averaging over 750 monthly work orders.
  • Successfully managed numerous construction projects, including a new synthetic athletic field with a budget of over $2 million, from design through the permitting process and completion.

  • Work with the Facilities Director and CFO to set and review capital project budget projections for 5 to 7 years.
  • In this capacity, the goal is to prioritize projects, review contracts, and collaborate with campus stakeholders.
  • Review and respond to employee performance reviews scheduled annually through Human Resources.
  • Collaborate with the Athletics Director and coaching staff to manage athletic facilities, assess facility conditions, and make necessary changes.
  • Directly manage the Grounds Manager and staff to oversee and train the manager, staff, and others in horticultural techniques and best landscape practices.
  • Develop specifications for maintenance contractors, including snow removal, lawn care, and pest control.
  • Updated policies, bid specifications, and contracts for Pest Control and Landscape Management.
