As a graduate of Denison HS, I am a four year Letterman. All four years of my high school experience, I competed in track and field, and track and field has been a continuous path for me. I was the only freshman in my class to be on the varsity track team. Three years later, I got my high school diploma, and transferred to South Plains College to continue my journey. During my first year in college, my track team won nationals, and we got our own personalized track and field ring. To be considered as a national champion during my first year of college is a big accomplishment to me, and that is something that I will always cherish. The next year, I graduated with my associates and got a call from ASU's Track and field coach to compete for two more years at Angelo State University. I took that offer, completed those two years at Angelo State, and graduated with my bachelor's degree. Not everyone gets that opportunity to play sports in college, but to me, that was Gods calling, because he knows that I have a bright future ahead of me.
