As the building engineer ( critical systems) for optimum headquarters , my duties include , extensive B.M.S. activities , physical inspections , preventive maintenance , and repairs of all critical and non critical heating and cooling systems , such as, rooftop units , airhandlers , crac units, chillers , water towers , pumps , vav systems, fcu systems , bcu systems ,ductless split systems , and emergency portable cooling systems. other responsibilities include , inspection and operation of 7 various load, building generators ,fire board, fire suppression systems , transfer switches , ups systems, pneumatic compressors and controls, and extensive communication with other departments and employees related to my field of work.

As the building engineer my duties included , the handling , inspections , and repairs, of all environmental heating and cooling systems , including , vav , fpb , fcu systems , heat exchangers, actuators , valves , heavy B.M.S. interaction and maintenance , boilers , chillers, fire systems , and controls. Later years advancing to crew chief , leading a portion of the techs , and scheduling maintenance.
