Rose from bookseller to store manager, was responsible for all aspects of store operations in a retail environment.

• As training manager (1997-2001) I was responsible for training all new hires on store procedures and policies.  Also traveled throughout the US and UK and assisted in opening 12 new locations
• Managed teams of 10-12 staff which concentrations in cafe, sales and service, inventory and merchandising. Total direct reports added up to 35-50 depending on the season.
• Directed and supervised employees engaged in guest service and sales, drove sales through initiating dedicated selling programs.
• Improved work flow by restructuring shelving and stocking systems to save time and increase efficiency.
• Always produced superior audits and have extensive LP experience.
