Summary
I have 32 years of experience with the Fire Service, 24 years with the Vacaville Fire Department as an active and respected member of various special projects and committees to include, Hazardous Materials and Fleet Maintenance. This has allowed me to become a very diverse leader, efficient manager and possess the ability to function appropriately on any type of emergency incident as well manage programs and projects. Some examples of these projects are PPE manager for 10 years within our department, managing a large budget. I am also the Assistant Team Leader for the County Hazmat Team, managing equipment procurement and team training. Promoting to the rank of Captain is the next logical step in career development.
