  • Executed many special projects on my own, as well as enlisted other team members when necessary.
  • Conducted hundreds of hours of research for company materials that include a paid course, educational videos, and a book I co-wrote with the CEO entitled "Be Your Own Shaman", a guide to collecting and utilizing wild medicinal plants.
  • Provided top tier customer service to our clients, which included educating them about our herbal products, answering questions, dealing with missing or late packages, and any other pertinent issues.
  • Fielded phone calls from Spanish speaking customers.
  • Wrote, produced, and hosted about 100 podcast episodes for "The Rooted in Health Podcast", which is a mouthpiece & advertising tool for the company.
  • Took, processed, and fulfilled thousands of orders for our customers, over the phone and online.
  • Crafted and bottled several different herbal tinctures and topical products, following GMP.

  • Operated furnaces for melting and purifying various heavy metals, mainly gold and silver. Specialized in melting pure silver and pouring it into 70 pound bars.
  • Cleaned and resurfaced furnaces regularly using clay, manual and pneumatic tools, and lots of skill and elbow grease.
  • Was promoted to Lead Operator on the graveyard shift after about a year of service, which involved delegating smelting jobs, oversight, and assisting my team as needed.
  • Worked in a very dangerous environment where plenty of Personal Protective Equipment was worn, including a full-face respirator, high-heat gloves, metal apron and spats, coveralls, etc.
  • Participated in "root cause analysis" meetings when something went wrong or an unusual situation arose.
  • Became familiar with and used MSDS as needed for various chemicals.
