Costing & labor scheduling.

Review of raw material and labor costs relative to sales price.

Coach and train new employees.

50 plus employees on 3 shifts.

Responsibilities:

Schedule and assign tasks for dock planning, setup and transportation of product.

Observe loading and unloading for trucks for proper distribution of freight for transport and insures timely delivery for freight.

Supervise operations, procedures, and freight movement.

Enforce all safety measures in regard of balance of freight for safe operation of trucks.

Enforce compliance with administration policies,procedures, safety rules and government regulations.

Train new dock employees and counsel dock personnel with feedback, coaching and discipline as needed for improved job performance.

Create and maintain a teamwork environment with employees.

Coordinate drivers and assign truck/delivery routes of freight.

Confer with other supervisors to ensure coordination of other functions such as production, inventory management, quality assurance, sanitation and preventative maintenance

Maintain equipment and facility for effective,clean and safe operations.

Schedule all shipping and transportation employees for the week.

Keep inventory and pull dates for all freezer loads.
