Additional Information

I started in this industry at the age of eighteen with no knowledge of the responsibility I was about to take on. I was very fortunate to have been placed with the individuals I worked with because they mentored me and groomed me for achieving success in a time that the industry was going through a safety culture shift. I eventually was granted with the responsibility of the role as Captain. I did not want the role of Captain just for the title. I wanted the opportunity to lead and train fellow crew members with the proper intent. The years have not all been easy sailing or the most eventful but I have suffered a hand full of events that have tested my personal abilities. That being said one of the constant challenges I see over and over is change. Through out the years I have seen many changes and have developed the skills to not only except change but the ability to have fellow crew members accept them as well.
