- Scope of work: 2 distribution centers | 5 feed cross docks | (7) 3rd party carriers | 3 third-party logistics (3PL) providers | $717M annual budget | 1,000+ store locations | ~650 truckloads/day.
- Develop and managed key performance indicators (KPIs) for all 3PL providers to include third party carriers for inbound, outbound, and vendor compliance. The KPIs included on time performance, lead times, and inbound load inspection. Analyze inventory, replenishment, and shipment routing. Implement sustainable logistics policy encompassing mode selection, carrier rationalization, and shipper of choice and logistics-supplier relationships. Manage all emergency response and just-in-time (JIT) freight shipments. Maintain companywide DOT, IRP, and IFTA accounts as well as 3rd party provider, carrier, and vendor contract compliance.
- Managed 3PL providers and carrier relationships to ensure seamless operations, including contract adherence, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
