- Maintained machine run schedule daily working closely with planning department.

- Managed maintenance downtime working directly with maintenance crews.

* Daily focus on work order variance reduction using lean principles - reduced variance by $143k in a 2 month time frame over 8 grades. Reductions made by analyzing grade history, centerlining data and creating better color setting starting points. Supported runs and worked with crews to implement best practices.

* Improved worst performing grade - Cobalt color is a very bright blue that was difficult to achieve shade. Over past 8 years the grade maintained an average 20% yield on jobs. Created an improvement team and modified dye set used based on history, yield improved to 60%.

  • Mill Converting Asset Lead

- Managed day to day operations on embossers, transparentizer, roll line, laminator and shipping / receiving.

- Performed same duties as in Neenah Mill including scheduling, cost improvement, safety, quality and training.

* Reduced cost on Black grade by $58/lb by improving dye retention with improved chemical usage. Also included using size press dying.

* Reduced cost on ATT Blue by $9/lb by reducing ti02 loading, found the filler was not needed and dye usage was reduce also with less filler.


  • Mill Converting Asset Lead (Appleton Mill)

- Managed day to day operations on embossers, roll line, shipping/receiving, Customark and Gilclear.


  • Safety Lead

- Managed hourly safety coordinator and 6 hourly safety advocates. Daily contact and weekly team meetings. Managed the monthly safety meeting with a 40% attendance rate. Team managed safety suggestion program, safety incident reports, safety investigations and safety training.


  • Oracle Upgrade Lead (Manufacturing)

- Managed Team of 8 hourly operators in system training.

- Utilized a train the trainer system, supported system go live around the clock for several months.
