During my career at the Postal Service I learned how to work well with people and share ideas how to make things get done. I'm a good listener and have no problem working as a team.
Maintain Postal Sorting and Cancelling machines by repairing circuit boards, replacing belts, shafts and pulleys and other worn out parts.
Use test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, volt meters, and other test procedures to keep machines aligned, adjusted and sorting properly.
Keeping machines clean by removing dust and debris that accumulates during operation that can degrade the accuracy of the machines capabilities.
Attend training classes to learn operation and maintaining of new and upgraded machines.
Keep and maintain logs of equipment service records to
share with other shifts, create work orders for work that cannot
be completed on shift.
During my career I received several awards for machine modifications that improved performance and a vacuum system
that was adopted by the machine manufacturer and is currently in use today.
When I lived on the coast I loved to take my boat out in Puget sound and catch salmon, I also enjoy growing my own vegetables in my yard garden.
