Payment Solutions Market Manager
11.2021 - Current

Job overview

Primary responsibilities include selling Elavon products and services in the merchant services and point-of-sale space to businesses primarily in the SMB sector through a strategic and consultative sales approach. In this role I work with businesses (merchants) to determine appropriate solutions for accepting and managing card payments from their customers and clients in a multitude of payment environments including restaurants, retail, healthcare, e-commerce and much more. I support 20+ branches in the U.S. Bank branch network in the greater St. Louis, MO market along with the Small Business Specialist (SBS) team for the St. Louis South district. I partner with the branches and SBS team to coach, train and develop their skillset surrounding payment solutions and merchant services as well as taking in customer referrals from them to promote and sell Elavon's products and services. Beyond the sale of Elavon's products and services, I work with merchants to help them onboard and activate their services, including set up and install as well as continued servicing of the account in conjunction with their assigned Customer Account Manager. I can also promote and refer other U.S. Bank products to the appropriate business line during my sales conversations with bank and non-bank customers. I achieve sales goals and service targets by cultivating and securing new customer relationships. I regularly make strategic and successful decisions by documenting and tracking sales activities in Salesforce. Since starting in this role I have successfully implemented effective changes and revitalized market growth for U.S. Bank and Elavon in the St. Louis region.
