Started off 2023 with my first job at Stord through Staffmark staffing agency as a Picker/Packer. Soon after I started, I was eager to be involved in new things, different departments, learn new skills, and to learn different tasks. Staffmark then promoted me as their talent ambassador so I could lead new hire orientations, warehouse safety programs. I achieved skills which gave me the tools to become a outbound team leader and hired by Stord as a full time lead. As a outbound team leader I have gained many skills such as, time management ,dealing with difficult employees and how to properly address difficult situations. I have learned to delegate and follow up on tasks to make sure all duties are fulfilled in a timely manner. I have also gained experience in, holding employees to expectations and having difficult conversations with employees.
Prepared packages for shipment following specific guidelines, reducing shipping errors and costly delays. Completed high-volume packing assignments quickly while maintaining strict quality standards. Supported quality control efforts by inspecting products for defects before packaging. Reduced product damage rates by carefully handling items during the packing process. Participated in safety committee on a monthly basis to ensure the safety of team members. Actively participated in the 5s program and help 5s the warehouse.
