As I runner myself, I highly value the sport of Cross Country.  I started up an elementary cross country program officially in 2015.  Prior to that, I was running with my own girls and others from our church.  My three girls have all been running with me since their pre-school days.  Our Elementary Program has grown over the years from only a few runners to well over 100 attending our camp.  I have coached many runners that have been in the top at the national level.  From the time my girls have entered Jr High, I have been involved in the sport unofficially - encouraging the runners and running with many of them over the summer.  I have reached a point in my workplace that I can make adjustments that will allow me to coach.  Many of those currently running are my former elementary runners - with whom I already have positive relationships.
