Summary

I have been at ingalls 10 years this September. With my years here being an insulator and currently material man for the past 2 years. I have developed a high standard of communication and organization because I believe those are the two most important things when it comes to my job. First time quality work and safety is my priority. During my time offshore i assisted in pumping, mud, completion fluid, water, and fuel all having to be monitored on a psi gauge to check for appropriate pressure levels. While assisting engineers and also taking the role as third engineer during my time I did change the oil in our caterpillar engines and also learned how to sync and swap from our auxiliary generators to the main generators while maintaining cleanliness of the engine room and ship.
