Analyze and monitor the credit profiles of 33 nonfinancial corporate issuers on the Approved Issuer list by conducting in-depth research on various industry sectors, analyzing financial statements, and building financial models to project future cash flows. Research findings are then written and presented to portfolio managers to guide certain investment decisions. Additionally, compose reports for key clients and take care of ad hoc projects.
Participated in the Student Investment Management (SIM) Program where students served as active portfolio managers of the SIM Portfolio. Students engage in a collaborative group decision-making process while gaining real-world portfolio management experience. The program focuses on developing the students' understanding of the institutional structure and fundamental concepts of asset valuation in financial markets. Theoretical material and real-world applications are balanced to give the students an understanding of investment theory and portfolio development.
Managed and monitored the recruitment experience of prospective student athletes and their families for the Ohio State football program. This includes giving tours, answering any questions, and ultimately being a resource to ensure an enjoyable time on campus. Extensive research is conducted about the student athlete and different university programs to find out where they fit in and what opportunities are available to them if they choose to play for the Buckeyes. All responsibilities are conducted while maintaining all NCAA compliance rules and regulations.
