  • Brian has a 72% rate of successful oil & gas discoveries. Some 70% of these wells were on prospects he generated. He has personally participated in some 170 total wells on prospects he generated or those he recommended.
  • Among Brian’s significant discoveries are the Dynamic Middle Wilcox field in Wharton Co., Texas, (approx 80 BCF ultimate); Lower Queen City-Jim Hogg Co (10+ BCF to date, 25 BCF ultimate), Live Oak Co. Sligo (1 well—33 BCF to date) as well as numerous Pleistocene, Miocene, Frio, Yegua and Cook Mountain, Wilcox, Austin Chalk, Georgetown, Glen Rose, and Sligo producers across Texas and Louisiana.

  • He has generated and caused prospects to be drilled in both sandstone and carbonate environments, focusing on the geological and seismic characteristics of productive reservoirs as analogs for exploration targets.
  • Brian is a legacy user of Kingdom 2D interpretation software since 1988, giving feedback on the early development of its 3D functionality.
