Summary

I moved to the state of Florida from Aurora, Illinois in 1987 at 14 years old. I went to Deltona Middle School in 1987 for 1 year and then attended DeLand Middle School in 1988 for 1 year. Graduated from Deltona High School in 1991. Joined the United States Army in 1992 as (92Y) Supply Specialist/ Armorer. At the age of 19years old. My responsibilities were for 18 million Dollars of Military equipment and supplying 122 soldiers. The responsibilities entailed a monthly budget of $10,000 and millions of dollars of military equipment. While an employee of the City of DeLand. I've made numerous efforts to better myself in this profession. I was the Housing Authority Officer for a year and half. I became a Detective for 6 years working a variety of cases including Homicide, Sex Crimes, Property Crimes, and Drug Investigations. I've spent the more then 8years on Patrol being a Field Training Officer as well as a Squad Leader. In 2009-2010 I was injured on the duty while injured, I re-organized and revamped the supply room. I located missing items updated the accountability of items and stayed within the budget. I saved approximately $3000.00-$4000.00. I could use, If not it would have been a total loss. I've been through numerous courses to better myself in my profession including Florida Leadership Academy Class 47, Line Supervision, Patrol Techniques, Criminal Street Gangs, Juvenile Sex Offender Investigation, Elder Abuse Investigation, Interview and Interrogation, Drug Trends, Sex Crimes Investigation, Crime Prevention Workshop, Search & Arrest Warrants, Child Exploitation Investigation, Ten Commandments of Criminal Justice Leadership, Public Risk Management, Field Training Officer, Florida Leadership Academy(Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute) Class#47. Love Football and Basketball any Chicago sport teams. I enjoy tinkering with computers breaking things down and putting them together. I have built my own computer just for fun.
