Encore/Elite Avid Audio Visual Training:

• Using Keystone Correction, Lens Shift & Zoom on a projector to align with screen.
• Knowledge of cables & connections such as SDI, HDMI, DVI, DMX etc.
• Setting up a mixer, using microphone receivers, XLRs, direct box, speakers & a laptop.
• Tripod screen setup

 Recordings:

     Recorded on multiple consoles such as the API 2488, SSL 9072 j series & the Neve VR-60 for multiple styles of recordings with four piece bands or more. used a variety of dynamic and condenser Microphones as well as DI boxes for tracking. Setting up microphones using multiple miking techniques such as Midside, Blumlein, X-Y coincident pair etc. communicated well with the band for sound check to get proper levels into the console & Pro Tools. Used a variety of outboard processors, plugins, and channel strip processors for processing of channel & monitor paths. 

Individual Mixes:

    once using these consoles and pro tools for recording, i used editing techniques inside of Pro Tools to cleanup the recording session. Then i adjusted level and panning for each instrument to create a balanced mix. I used inserts as well as sends and returns for outboard processing from each of these consoles and Pro Tools, created audio subgroups/submasters.
