Transferring into the Creative Writing program, I have taken a great deal of my major classes in a short amount of time, still managing to maintain a 3.95 GPA in major and a 3.77 overall at Stony Brook. By the time I graduate, I will have completed ten workshop classes, a publishing practicum focused on the process of creating a literary magazine, a seminar on the ethics of a creative imagination, and a program-approved thesis for a collection of short fiction.
