Central Office Technician ensuring backbone communications operated properly. Responsible for switching, fiber optic, and large data equipment maintenance, testing and repair for over 70 offices in Central Massachusetts.

Outside Plant Technician (Lineman) operation of heavy equipment for lifting and hoisting utility poles and cable facilities. Studied and board tested to the level of Journey Man Head Lineman allowing me to run crews and over see entire jobs with regard to proficiency, quality and safety. This position required a CDL-A drivers license as transportation of large poles on public roads necessitated proper legal ability. Many hours were spent on emergency call outs for damage restoration and required working along side other utilities (ie power, cable and state organizations) to ensure safe and proficient resolutions.

Splice Service Technician installation and repair of copper and fiber optic facilities to both residential and commercial customers. With a very strong focus on customer satisfaction ensuring the end user's satisfaction and understanding during all phases of the work orders. This position required the use of aerial lift bucket trucks, ladder and pole climbing with hooks. I worked in the underground, through right-of-ways and in remote controlled environments.

Coordinated with other branches of service to allow patient and material movement of field hospitals and patient care centers.
