Worked in the security field for almost 40 years 28.5 in CDCR and 24 years’ military in conjunction with my state employment. Lastly I worked 10 years under DHS and I have a current CCW due to my retired peace officer status.

10 Years 5 Months- Worked as Detention Officer under a federal contract DHS primary responsibility was transporting detainees.

28 Years 3 Months- I joined the Navy at 17 years old worked in the weapons field with conventional and nuclear weapons while attached to an attack squadron. When deployed to sea it was on an aircraft carrier out of San Diego.
- After my Navy time I Joined the Air Force Reserves and over the next 20 years served proudly as a structural repair tech and the last 10 as a Fire Protection specialist before retiring honorably discharged.
