Brian Mullaney

- Manages the planning, design, construction, maintenance and repair work of transportation infrastructure including traffic control devices, pavement striping, signage, rectangular rapid flash beacons (RRFBs), speed radar feedback signs, school zone flashers, EV charging infrastructure, and street lighting to ensure a transportation system that is efficient, safe, and of high quality.

- Responds to concerns from residents, police, or others and conveys complex engineering information to non-technical individuals; communicates, coordinates, and collaborates with residents, staff, developers, and community leaders.

Supported budget preparation by providing key information for annual budgets; developed and prioritized capital improvement program project requests with City divisions/departments to ensure efficient use of budgeted resources.

Oversaw maintenance of Marysville’s lighting infrastructure in City GIS databases; identified trends and created innovative data analysis solutions.

-Responsible for the organization and direction of building maintenance and operation activities, reviewing plans for construction and remodeling of City facilities and maintaining the necessary permits and inspections to remain in compliance with all regulatory agencies.

-Manages and maintains the budget for City contracts including Cleaning, Refuse Collection and Facility Maintenance (HVAC, Generators, Elevators, etc.).

-Implements and manages the preventative maintenance and replacement schedule for all systems and their related components (including HVAC, electrical, structural, etc.) within City facilities.
