Work History

Corporal/Advanced EMT

Rome/Floyd County Fire Dept.
07.2017 - Current

I have been employed with the Rome Fire Dept. Since 07/07/17. In that time i completed my Advanced EMT certification, Attended Tactical Emergency Critical Care class, Attended Extrication classes in Alabama, participated in Honor Guard functions, and assisted in all but one recruit school since my employment began.

I have been assigned to one of the busiest stations at the department for the greater part of my time here, in which time I have been apart of several Emergency operations in which the outcome was greatly improved by our involvement. I have spent a large amount of time on a Squad unit, which responds to vehicle accidents, medical emergencies, and structure fires. I have also Spent a great amount of time on an aerial apparatus, which responds to the same calls, with the addition of fire alarms, and public assist calls. In my time at Sta. 5 I have worked for 4 different Captains, and accrued no negative evaluations, and no disciplinary action.
