  • Started in the business delivering printed envelopes, business forms, labels, and letterhead to customers all over the Bay Area for ½ of the week
  • I would meet all customers on deliveries to start building relationships
  • The other ½ of the week, I was learning about how the print business worked, how the presses operated, the different types of paper, the various types of ink, cutting, folding, and gluing our products
  • I met with vendors, went to our printing companies, and worked with our internal employees on all aspects, from order entry, estimating, and billing out jobs to customers
  • Began full-time sales in 1994
  • I immediately began to hone my skills in caring for people and learning the sales trade
  • Became excellent at building relationships and nurturing opportunities and customers
