Began Smokejumper in Redding as Rookie, working way up to Squad leader in Loadmaster/Paracargo department under operations. Other duties besides smokejumping include building/designing/delivery of R-5 Frequency Guide for the Region, presentations to Forests/users.
Worked in all regions in various fuels/topography to support Fire Operations in any/all aspects of fire. Spent time on Mendocino, Bear Divide, and Fulton Hotshots as sawyer, swamped, tool, and squad leader. Supported district and forest operations in all capacities.
Learned wild land fire operations as engine crew member on the Los Padres Forest.
