  • Organize on the pallet, shrink wrap the pallet, stage it, or run it on the shuttle trailer.
  • Unload semi-trucks that are floor loaded, place on pallets, shrink wrap, and then stage on the dock.
  • Load trucks with the orders that go with each shuttle to their destination.
  • Inventory Control: I unloaded palletized trucks, then I would break the pallets down, label them, and then put them in the racking system.
  • I had to restock the pick line for the other employees to fill orders.
  • I used a reach to restock and put product in the air in the racking system.
  • Sign the invoices and check off the product as I pulled it off the truck with a forklift.
  • I then took my inventory sheets and entered them into the computer.
  • I did all inventory counting of products to make sure that all of the counts were correct.
  • The manager and I were the only ones with inventory access, so it could not be tampered with.
  • I was at an average of 93% correct inventory. The 7% loss of inventory was due to damage and mispicks of product.

  • Shift Supervisor: I, as the supervisor, had to be at the job 1 hour before the rest of my crew and left after everyone was gone.
  • All orders were processed and the B.O.L's were printed.
  • I was in charge of printing the orders, scheduling the trucks, and making sure the orders were completed.
  • I was in charge of making sure the workers always stayed busy working, if it was picking orders or cleaning the plant.
  • I had to print the B.O.L.
  • And make sure they were correct with the orders that were pulled.
  • Change orders if product was unavailable.
  • Checking the time cards of the employees to make sure of their hours worked, or if they used a vacation day.
  • I was in charge of closing up the facility at the end of the night, making sure the building doors were all secured, and setting the alarms.
  • UPS Shipper: I would pick the orders, double check them with the B.O.L.
  • Process the order, label it, and place it in the outgoing UPS container.
  • Repackage some products going out and print new label for it.
  • Quality Control: Check every pallet that was pulled.
  • I had to make sure the right product was on the pallets.
  • Sometimes, if there was a product I could not find, I had to tear the whole pallet apart to check it and then rebuild it.
  • Sometimes, I would have to rewrap the pallet and relabel it.
  • Place it on the dock, in line with the other pallets, going on that truck.
  • I had a 98% quality rate on my pallets and 96% inventory control at the end of each week.

Manufacturer (titanium)

  • Cell operator: Produced titanium in a salt bath with ticle, a chemical used in the reaction to form titanium
  • Took temperature reading, air flow readings, pressure readings and had to adjust all readings to the required readings per spec for the material
  • Open the cell when the Cathode was done producing titanium
  • Remove the cathode and place in an acid bath for later cleaning
  • Material Cleaner: Remove the product from the acid bath and clean the product from the cathode with sterile
  • And demagnetized from any impurities
  • Place the product on trays and place in hot air dryers for 12 – 14 hrs
  • Finisher: Remove product from dryers and place on a sifting belt to remove any impurities or scrap that was not removed in the cleaning process
  • Package off the product in 20# bags and placed in storage containers for later use in another department.
