*Have a valid Class A and B Commercial Drivers License with air brakes and tanker endorsements
*Operate trucks and other equipment to complete highway maintenance
*Operate, service, and maintain trucks, and front-end loaders
*Assist with training new workers on lawn care equipment, skid steer, how to work controls in plow trucks, and controls of front end loaders
*Safely moves, drags, lifts, loads, and unloads various equipment, materials, supplies, and hazardous materials or objects from the roadway, and spreads and tamps surfacing materials
*Performs snow and ice removal
*Record keeping of signs that are put up, poison's that are sprayed and where it is sprayed, assist crew chief with record of gas/fuel inventory
*Attends training in person and on Workday to keep current on procedures, equipment, and materials, ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
*Performs other duties as assigned

*Provide safety checks, monitor machinery and equipment to determine compliance with operating standards.
*Used precision and diagnostic instruments to measure required tolerances of mechanical parts or thickness of paint application. *Work with and around chemicals using approved personal protective equipment.
*Inspect and test machinery to detect malfunctions.
*Perform equipment diagnostics to recommend corrective actions for operational problems.
*Oversee and maintain facility systems and while looking for new safe & effective job site safety methods, complying with OSHA requirements as Safety Operations Manager.
