  • With two associates, we created a bid package to host the 2014 Gay Games in Cleveland + Akron Ohio.
  • After bid package was accepted, we hosted the election delegation for a weekend to demonstrate all the amenities northeast Ohio has to offer.
  • On September 29, 2009, after completing a formal presentation in Cologne, Germany and competing against the cities of Boston, Miami and Washington DC, the Federation of Gay Games voted and chose CLEVELAND, OHIO to host the gay games in 2014.
  • The 2014 Gay Games, which the Cleveland Synergy Foundation brought to northeast Ohio, attracted nearly 8,000 athletes to Ohio in August 2014, and added $52.1 million to the local economy during the eight-day event, according to a study by two economics professors at Kent State University.

  • Assisted the Cleveland Aids Task Force in the management of their main annual fundraiser, Cleveland Dancin' in the Streets.
