• Interpreted blueprints or drawings accurately in order to plan effective layouts for fabrication jobs.
• Erected buildings by either bolted or welded connections. Installation of joists and decking.
• Provided technical guidance to welding staff on proper use of equipment, techniques, and materials.
• Oversaw the daily operations of the welding department, including organizing workflow, and assigning tasks to workers in the shop and field.
• Conducted regular safety training sessions with employees regarding safe operation of machinery and personal protective gear requirements.
• Managed inventory keeping shop and field running smooth.
• Ensured safety protocols were followed at all times by welders by communication with our Safety personnel.
• Trained new hires on proper setup and use of tools and equipment associated with job duties.
• Took measurements to plan layout and fabrication when blueprints were not available.
• Laid out, fabricated, welded, and installed (erected) steel according to blueprints or drawings.

Welded, and fabricated all components used in Power Plants, including furnace doors,and Burner Cells.

Fit and welded all joints and flanges, Threaded pipe, demo and installation of pipe, insulation, and whole systems.

Fabrication of pipe supports, pipe clamps, and variable spring support. Also did some Nuclear work involving proper paperwork and stamping my work.
