
Victim Witness Advocate with almost two years of experience serving as the general crimes intake victim advocate for the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office. Experienced in making initial victim contacts, obtaining/documenting case information, assessing immediate victim needs, and explaining victim rights, the court process, and available resources. Participates in charging conferences with both misdemeanor and felony prosecutors within the general crime unit to support victims and serve as a potential witness if needed. Strengths include helping victims in stressful situations, keeping cases organized, and coordinating with prosecutors and other agencies.
Currently serve as the primary intake point for general crimes cases, conducting initial contact with victims, collecting key information, and assessing immediate victim needs. Provide victims' rights and court process education,coordinate referrals/resources, attend charging conferences with prosecutors, and maintain accurate case notes and follow up.
Support the Athletic department by cleaning and maintaining the fitness room and equipment inside, supervising the fitness room during operational hours, observing/assisting fitness room users on how to operate equipment, and completing weekly "Cleaning Checklists."
