Brian James Alvarado

I have 6+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer. I began my career by interning at IKA Works as an electronics engineer while simultaneously completing a Bachelors in Electrical and Computer Engineering. After graduation, I was employed full-time by IKA Works as an Electrical Engineer, while, again, simultaneously pursing a Masters in Applied Electromagnetics. Upon completion of the Masters Degree I transitioned to a role in RF engineering at ViaSat, where I worked primary on KA-band Power Amplifiers and L-band Transceivers. I pride myself with being able to solve problems and finish projects. I can work well both as a member of a team or independently. I consider myself a life-long-learner and I stay motivated to develop new skills and learn about new technology in order to become a better engineer.

I am a surfer; life-long songwriter and guitarist; I exercise almost everyday and have done so for most of my life; I like to travel to different countries and experience different cultures.
