My family ofts visits the motherland Kenya for splendid visits with kin. During our tenure there, Mother and Father obligate me, as well as my siblings to go to about and toil in Christian missionary work and a myriad of other noble services there. Aforesaid service we provide to the church varies with how much we travel to Kenya and for how long. Nonetheless, the efforts typically range from a few days a year to several weeks a year, every year.
The job delineates from giving out clothes and food to the unfortunate of society, helping with church mission services, proselytizing, and driving around the area helping people with all manners of domestic, social, and theological concerns. These domestic problems ranged from simply fixing home appliances, to helping out the mentally and physically infirm, and sometimes therapeutic aid. Many a time the missionary work in which I'm proud to partake in, has tackled community issues, be it infrastructure such as drinking wells and irrigation, or nuanced social strife. I'm usually accompanied by other kids from there and family members. Due to my seniority, I often have to seize command and coordinate our collective efforts.
What began as an obligation, has long since manifested into a fundamental part of my character. It is no longer a monotonous labor brought upon by the whips of parents. Those days of such a naïve line of thinking have long since perished. Rather it is now moral, as well as spiritual endeavor to do good. A flame burns within when I'm not serving thus, akin to a blazing inferno. It burns more fiercely than a thousand lying stars. It burns brightly with a great fervent fervor. Thus it shall be, till in God's good time, I'm bound back again.
